I'm from Richmond, VA and when it came to choosing which school to go to, I had no idea. When I came to Longwood for my first tour, my mom said she could see me going to Longwood, and since Mom usually knows best, here I am!
When I first started at Longwood, my intentions were to become a Physical and Health Education teacher. After my sophomore year, I realized teaching really wasn't my passion, so I changed my Kinesiology concentration to Exercise Science. Throughout my time here, I've been involved in Baptist Collegiate Ministries, Longwood Ambassadors, Phi Epsilon Kappa, Mortar Board and I'm in my second year as a Resident Assistant. My senior year has approached so quickly and I'm trying to take in as many of the Longwood traditions as I can before I graduate in May.

When Longwood Sororities & Fraternities get new members, they have Walk.   The Spring 2012 Sorority Walk for all of the new Greek women was held yesterday behind the Student Union.  Even with the cold weather and rainy ground, I was glad to see so many Lancers come out to show their support!  I’ve been to several other Walks before (I did a post on the Fraternity Walk last semester), but this one was especially cool because my sister went through Recruitment!  She’s a freshman and has been talking about joining a sorority for a while now so it was cool to see her actually going through it now!  It did kind of make me sad though because last night she updated her Facebook status saying, “I woke up with one sister (me)…going to sleep with 56 more!”  Not sure how I feel about sharing her, but, I suppose I’ll make the exception ;)

Enjoy some pictures from Walk!!
