Hello there! My name is Lynne and I'm a senior at the lovely Longwood University. Over the course of my college career at Longwood, I've joined a few organizations. One of them being Longwood Ambassadors, which means I get to lead prospective students on tours and tell them all the wonderful things Longwood has to offer (and look snazzy in a blue polo and khaki pants while doing it!) Some of my favorite things to do on campus include eating with my friends at the dining hall or longboarding around Brock Commons. This year, I'm just trying to soak up all of the goodness of college before I graduate in the spring.

After a relaxing weekend, who wants to go back to the grind of school work?As a college student, I usually dread the start of a new week and the copious amount of work that comes with it.

Even though people might complain about Mondays, they really aren’t that bad. Mondays mean new beginnings! Monday is the perfect day to start over and try something that you’ve always wanted to do, like basket weaving or competitive food eating. Don’t frown at the thought of having to wake up early. Instead, think of all the extra time you will have to complete daily tasks, such as taking a shower, brushing your teeth and maybe eating breakfast. Remember to think positively. Starting out your day with a positive attitude can only put you on a track for success. If all else fails, don’t worry; Tuesday will be here soon enough.
