I am a senior at Longwood University, with a Liberal Studies (Elementary Education) major and a Children's Literature minor. I am a member of Sigma Sigma Sigma and live in Stubbs Dormatory on campus. I grew up in Northern Virginia and have lived in the same house for my entire life. I am the youngest of three girls and have a terror of a dog. I like to read classic books, my favorite being Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and listen to all kinds of music.

The Spring 2013 Semester

This semester is going to be very different from all my other semesters at Longwood. First of all this is the semester that I should be graduating but I am one semester behind because of my minor in Children’s Literature, which I completed in the fall. I will graduate in the fall of 2013 so I am still part of the Class of 2013, which makes me very proud.
This semester I am doing my partnership. Partnership is usually the second to last semester of Liberal Studies Elementary Education majors. Partnership itself is half day of being taught and half days of observing/teaching in the classroom, and then back to back class on campus on Fridays. Not only are the classes going to be different but this will be the earliest semester I will have at Longwood as I have avoided 8ams all four years.
I will still be working as an ITC, and student blogger. I will also still be an active member of Sigma Sigma Sigma, although I will hopefully be on special consideration which means I won’t be required to go to everything.

I’m excited for this next semester and Ill hopefully keep my blog updated on what’s going on, but my first week back is pretty busy, with my first week of partnership and work. Also this next weekend is CPC recruitment! Go Greek!

In the blue and white spirit,
