I am a girl who loves to smile and tries to see the beauty in every situation. My family and friends mean the world to me and spending time with them always makes my happy. I can not believe I am already a senior at Longwood. After I graduate in May, I hope to work on my master's degree for School Psychology. Working with children has always been a dream of mine. The journey working towards accomplishing my goal has been exciting so far and I look forward to what the future holds.

Valentine’s and Homework!

What a lovely evening I had on Valentine’s Day as I ate Chinese food leftovers and did a lot of homework to get ahead of my schedule.  Okay – I just made myself sound pathetic so lets back up…

I went home to Chester, Va the weekend before Valentine’s Day.  It was the first time I saw my parents since coming back to school for the start of Spring semester.  There is a feeling of being home that is the absolute best feeling in the whole world.  Nothing seems misplaced or different, it just feels perfect.  Also, the fact my boyfriend was home to greet me was certainly a plus! Being able to relax with my family was a great way to start my weekend.

The funny thing about packing to go home is the fact I take so much school work home and I am determined to get it done, yet it never happens! So, unless you have an assignment that is due Monday morning – don’t bring home any other schoolwork cause honestly, it just won’t get done.  I just wanted to throw that tip out there! :)

My boyfriend and I celebrated Valentine’s Day on Sunday since I had to be back at school for class at 9 am on Monday.  Booo!  Anyways, we had a lovely evening and I was so sad to take that drive back to school. With that being said, on Monday I had the day to myself full of getting work done, going to class, going to the gym, and yes eating those delicious Chinese food leftovers.  :)

How did you celebrate Valentine’s Day?
