So Farmville is empty now that the spring semester is over. On the bright side, seniors still remain on and around campus celebrating our graduation in a few days! Longwood is so fantastic and has a tradition of “Senior Week” where students relax and hang out with fellow classmates before walking across the stage and becoming Longwood Alumni.
This week has already been filled with picnics, gatherings, movies, and packing. Luckily it is only Wednesday and seniors still have half the week left full of more fun events! It has been an emotional ride this week with packing up all my belongings. I can only imagine how sad I will be at graduation. Yes – this is a very happy time of my life, but I have been at Longwood for 4 years and I will definitely miss it. I have met so many wonderful friends and have learned from the best psychology professors! I am so grateful for my experience at Longwood University. Being a student at Longwood has shaped me into the person I have always strived to be. I hate to leave, but I know there are many exciting events to come in my life. Thank you Longwood for everything you have given, shown, and taught me. I will forever be grateful.
