…until Graduation! OH MY GOODNESS!
School assignments are starting to slow down as graduation approaches, but I do have a few big tests to take before I am done. One of my requirements is taking the Major Field Assessment Test (a.k.a. mfat) which is on April 26th! The mfat will test senior psychology majors on all the information they have learned from college. Can you say YIKES! After the mfat and one more regular course test and two finals of my undergraduate career, it will be easy sailing as graduation approaches.
One huge piece of advice I give to underclassmen is to take summer and/or winter break classes. It has been wonderful only taking 12 credits during my senior year, but that doesn’t happen to everyone. I planned out my schedule during freshman, sophomore, and junior year so I knew I would have a light senior year. Don’t get my wrong classes are tough, but I am only taking four at a time. There are so many other things a senior has to prepare for before graduation. For example, I am applying to grad school as are many of my friends. They are also applying for jobs and if you are applying for either one it is very time consuming. It is almost as if we are taking another 3 credit class with all the time it takes to research your next step in life.
Well I had a productive day of working out, homework, blogging, and packing up things for my parents to take home tomorrow (they are visiting for my birthday – which is on Tuesday, the 19th!) It is time to go out and have dinner with friends! Have a relaxing weekend!
Yuck – not a fan of standardized tests!
