I am so sorry for the incredibly late blog. I’ve been in the throes of an insanely busy two weeks. I should have blogged last weeks, I know, but all I could fit in were tweets because I had soooo many papers! That’s what I get for being an English major, though…
Now don’t get me wrong, I wouldn’t change my major for the world, but it means so many papers and projects and such. My week last week was spent almost entirely in my room working on papers. This week has been spent studying, doing a take-home final exam, and resting when I’m not working.
The sad thing, though, is my head has been aching all day and off-and-on all week… I blame winter and a weakened immune system. So I’m resting like mad today on my day off to ensure that by tomorrow’s 11:30 AM exam, I will feel fine.
So to all of you uninitiated with college exams, let me say that yes, they are crazy and the week before is always full of papers and projects, but no, they are not as insane as the media wants you to believe. You’ll be tired after your exams, you’ll be a bit stressed about grades or exams, but you’re not likely to end up spending all night studying hopelessly if you plan your study schedule out right and, while some exams are more difficult than others, professors are NOT out to sabotage your grades with the exams.
To my collegiate brethren, good luck with the rest of your exams! I’m gonna go rest my head again… blah.
